A rosary waits to be clutched shortly before the reciting of the rosary during a church service. The pews which inhabit the church date back to 1792 and have only been refurbished once, in 1976. They will soon be replaced during a major reconstruction of the church's interior, leaving many parishioners unhappy with Reverend Monsignor Leo Lucero's modernization of the historic site.
