Laurie Vander Velde, right, and her husband Michael of St. Louis, Mo. walk under the entryway to the front door of the San Felipe de Neri in Albuquerque’s Old Town. The church is Old Town's biggest tourist attraction and was first built in 1706. A flood in 1792 collapsed the original church but the parishioners rebuilt the church the following year on the site where it now stands.
