Moreño Hall is reflected in a door leading to the offices of San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church as office worker Elizabeth Gallegos walks through the office to her desk. The church is Albuquerque's oldest and was originally founded by Fray Manuel Moreno, a Franciscan priest who came to Albuquerque with 30 families from nearby Bernalillo, N.M in 1703. The church was initially named San Francisco Xavier by Don Francisco Cuervo y Valdez, who founded the city of Albuquerque, but it was later changed to San Felipe de Neri in honor of Philip Neri, the patron saint of King Philip of Spain.
