Ray Brierly, manager of Canoe Passage Outfitters in Taunton, Mass., loads the kayaks and canoes that were used to give tours of Watson Pond during the Taunton River Watershed Day Saturday at Watson Pond State Park in Taunton. The event, sponsored by the Taunton River Watershed Study Committee and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, gave people an opportunity to learn more about protecting the watershed and a chance to explore the wetlands and shoreline.
